3D Printed Floating Island

The idea behind this project was to design a laboratory that experiments different types of soil within the Gloucestershire area. This laboratory designed in a way that water resources and energy source is accessible from the surroundings. Ideology of forming an island within the lake of Woodchester Mansion was inspired by Thomas Heatherwick’s Floating Island in New York. Capacity of the living area in the project is designed for Only 1 botanist.
